Flowers were beautiful and we got a lot of compliments. However, the flowers were not what we ordered in quantity or style and they forgot the flower girl. ~ aspeckles

We originally didnt have a budget for flowers b.c our package with the old venue included centerpieces. We met with Nathan and told him our budget, i really thought he was gonna start laughing at us. But he put together this awesome centerpiece and we booked him on the spot. We had 42 tall centerpieces and he threw in alot of extras. They came out soo nice and not one was left after the wedding. ~ oby

My sister got married 6 weeks before I did and used Nathan at Avenue Flowers. Her centerpieces were amazing! When I heard she spent $65, I was floored. And this was for tall centerpieces. No delivery/set-up fee. Holy Guacamole! He just blew me away.  My sister booked him for me, picked all the flowers, did all the communication…all about a month before the wedding.We cancelled our centerpieces with Yumilla (Metropolitan Plant & Flower exchange) and we were thrilled to use them. He was our second favorite vendor: a total sweetheart and amazing flowers. I told our friends the centerpieces were $65 and they were shocked! I’m over the moon with them. Go book them!!! ~ Isabella

Nathan loves what he does. The man knows the name of every single flower in the world, its origin, and whether it will be a good or bad week for it. I was blown away by his creativity and passion. Using him was carefree and a joy. On the wedding day he personally delivered the bouquets to the hotel and for some reason I started tearing up...they were so so beautiful. He surprised me and upgraded some of my orchids to these gorgeous deeper purple ones and added peonies to the centerpieces. I LOVE him L-O-V-E. Any girl using him has nothing to worry about. He is hands down the best value for what you get. He came at the end of the night with Mom to get the pieces and it was like seeing and old friend. The centerpieces lasted great and we used them the next day at the brunch. ~ teamAandE

 

Adam is the god of all things floral. He is so easy to work with and funny and his creations are beautiful. He got to the house right on time and waited for me to get there because I was running late at the salon. Everything was laid out and labeled. He went through each item with me and gave me everything I needed before he left to meet the guys at church. He made sure all the guys put on their bouts the right way at church and then left for the reception. Our CPs were gorgeous and everything was set up exactly how we wanted it. ~ melissa721

Adam is great! He knows flowers, colors, and overall theme. The flowers were gorgeous.. and everyone still raves about our centerpieces! The day of he was great too.... dropping off the flowers at two locations.... doing a double and triple check. He is very professional ! Use them! ~ mena

Joann is the owner and she was fantastic to work with. My bouquets were gorgeous and just what I expected and wanted the colors were gorgeous and she even added extra flowers to the girls bouquets to make sure they were round enough. ~ jen629

Connie has been raved about before & I'm sure my rave wont' be the last, I keep using the word "outrageous" to describe my flower because she DID go above & beyond what I expected (& I had high expectations). The arrangements from bouquets to CPs, the sweetheart table, the aisle with petaks...everything was beautiful & people are still talking about the flowers. Connie has a great personality & was so easy to work with. I miss seeing her! I feel we got more than our money's worth. ~Jaytee501

I love Connie. SHe is just such a sweet lady. She really seems to love what she does. My wedding colors were blue and yellow with black and white accents. Except the ONLY yellow was being brought in through flowers. After a while, my house started to look like a boy babyshower, and I was losing sight of the vision in my head. Well, once I saw all the flowers, that vision was alive and well. It was exactly what I wanted and more. I love flowers and in my case, they really completed the 'look' I was going for. Connie is very reasonable and willing to work with your budget. ~ Sinthya

From the beginning Connie was a sweetheart to work with. She was the only florist that I went to that took my idea and tried to make it work. Every other florist I met with immediately told me it was too much work and that it could not be done within my budget but not Connie. She took it as a challenge and called me numerous times with ideas of how to fit my centerpieces in my budget. The day of the wedding she did not disappoint. The centerpieces looked beautiful, the bouquets were nicely done, and all the flowers were fresh. This is a vendor who loves what she does and is not out to get your money. I would highly recommend Connie to anyone who is looking for a florist that’s willing to work with your budget. ~ N&W09

Connie was by far the easiest vendor to work with. I showed her about 2 pictures, and she understood completely what I wanted and made it within my budget. All of my flowers looked amazing. ~ Kate&Mark

Stephanie did a great job with the bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony arrangements. However a few of the white rose boutineers and my MIL's and mom's corsages were practically dead so this was very disappointing. However Stephanie has been a pleasure to work with, and really works within your budget ~ shelene.suefert

Stephanie is a great job. We were not 100% happy with our original trial, so we changed a few things, without doing a retrial, but everything came out great (and very different). She did everything we asked for, no mistakes, and really decorated Il Tulipano nice (it's a big place!). ~ USER876

Beverly does great work at amazing prices. I was very, very happy with the outcome of my flowers. She works out of her home and is able to provide brides with amazing prices. Monika did a wonderful job. The bouquets were beautiful, the centerpieces were exactly what I wanted and the church decorations were perfect. The reason I gave her an A without the + was b/c I was disappointed with my bouquet- at first. The pink roses were supposed to be a very pale, light pink- but ended up being a darker, deeper pink. Total minor detail that I got over really quickly- but it was just the initial shock of it not looking like the sample she made me. Overall, I would highly recommend her. ~ misskriss927

We worked with Vito and he did an excellent job.Our centerpieces were exactly what I wanted and the bouquets all around were lovely.There were two things I was unhappy with, minor in comparison to the wonderful things, but something to mention... our cake table was not decorated the way I had asked for it to be.It was supposed to have a few rows of candles and instead had 3 or 4 candles scattered around the table.We had an extra centerpiece, which I had requested that they put on a table near the bathroom, but it wasn't there.Instead, they put it in the cocktail hour room.Overall, they did a great job and Vito was fun to work with throughout the process. ~ cknud112

Perrys was great to work with and they were really understanding with our budget. In fact, they came in under budget. Leading up to the wedding, they allowed us to add on or take off what we needed. All the flowers arrived on time and really well organized. The reason they are getting an A- is because our runner was ripped badly and by the time the guys rolled it out, it was too late. However, by the time my parents got home from the reception, Perrys had already been to their house and dropped off a refund check for more than the original amount and an apology because the cleaner had not made them aware. ~ Lovemuffin1125

Nancy was very accomadeting and helpful with everything..The flowers were beautiful. Delivery was on time. I gave them a C for a few things that made me mad... My bouquet had blue ribbon on it when it should of been specifically white. I also feel it should of been fuller for the amount I paid. The table arrangements. I spent a good amount of money for them and I provided the tiki torches. They werent full and there was about one stem of flowers on each table which I thought was little ridiculous. Nancy also said that the pinapples I wanted wouldnt look right because the palm trees would be too tall so you wouldnt see them but they would of been fine and I feel like that is something I shouldnt of comprimised on. We worked primarily with Jill and she was great to work with.  Their execution on the ideas that we talked about was amazing!  I have a houseful of flowers from the wedding and they still look fantastic a few days later.  I think they are a great choice for a florist at a good price.  Highly Recommend ~30may09bride

Used John from NJ. At first seemed really nice and took all my ideas which made me feel like he would do whatever I wanted. Was really good with price in the beginning. After seeing our mockups a month before, one piece needed to be change. Was NOT changed at reception. He seemed to become a little more rude as it neared the wedding- changing prices, adding stuff in I didn’t want or charging more at the end for some things. When flowers arrived at our house, some were dying and falling apart. Some flower bouquets were not full. My bridal bouquet unwrapped at one point. My husband went through 4 boutneers and finally we just gave up. My mom called John the day of the wedding voicing her concern and ask for a phone call- he never had called back. ~ Mags0220

This was another company that I hadn't heard a lot of buzz here on the knot but they were a knot favorite in 2007 (i think). From the first meeting I really enjoyed meeting with Glenn. They weren't pretentious, worked with our colors and theme and he got it perfectly. The great thing about their service is that when you hire them, it's only your wedding that they have booked for that day giving such personal attention that was a relief for me. The day of was everything we had discussed turned into life with the bouquets and centerpieces looking urban and modern and amazing! ~ princet1

Glenn at Stem & Co was amazing. He is so creative and took my ideas and ran with them, he was flexible when I made changes in the numbers, and delivered all that I asked for. He was on time and everything looked amazing from the bouquets to the bouts, to the church arrangements, to the placecard table, to the cake flowers, to the centerpieces. Just everything I ever wanted and more. I really didn't know what I wanted other than pink and peonies, so what he did for me was amazing and created floral art that had me in awe all day. Other than the bouts all the flowA+ ~ Park Avenue was great from the start. They werent pushy with me to purchase the first time I went and were patient with me trying on a million dresses and coming back a second time to try on the top 3. I worked with Ginny when picking the dress. They let me come and try on my dress when ever i wanted since it came in early. I bought my headpiece and veil there and everything came in on time and was beautiful. Alterations went well and my dress fit perfectly day of. My bustle broke day of during our first dance but that was bc I was insistant on not taking away from the visual of the train so it dragged a little and hubby stopped right on it while dancing and the button popped off....nothing ripped and it probably would have held up the whole night if it wasnt for him:0}
I had a really great experience with Park Avenue and I would recommend them to anyone, but seriously listen to the seamtress when she tells you how to do the bustle! ers lasted all day, which was great because it was a hot one at sorching 93 degrees. Glenn was also so easy to work with and was always so nice and bubbly. I actually lost my bouqet due to a mishap at the hotel the following morning and Glenn was nice enough to make me a recreation....I know its not the same but close enough. The only thing is phone is probably the best way to get in touch with Glenn if you want fast answers or responsiveness. ~ Dancer2873

I'll start by saying our flowers were beautiful, from the centerpieces to the bouquets. I was very pleased with the flowers. BUT. Upon returning from my HM, I discovered I had not yet received my credit for 2 centerpieces and 1 bout. I was overcharged the final payment. I paid for 2 ceremony arrangements that I never received. I was also double charged the final payment. All of that came to a whopping $2600. My first attempt to rectify the situation was met with apologies and assurance that everything would be taken care of. And that's the last I heard from her. I am now having Chase handle this. What a huge disappointment and an unprofessional way of handling business. ~ Strunella
