I wanted to encorporate part of my heritage in this Americanized wedding and hiring a steel band to play at the cocktail hour is what my parents and I had decided upon. My parents being concerned about the dj wanted a band for the reception and I didn't (personal preference) so I suggested that we use the band for the reception as well. These guys were great!!! It was only a 10 person piece from their enormous band but they had people who've never danced to steel band music up and dancing with great comments pouring in after the wedding. ~ princet1

We keep getting comments from our guests as to how amazing they sounded.They sounded great, were early, and did a fabulous job for the ceremony and CH.We loved that they all were having a great time, you could tell they just love to be together.My only issue with them is that I had 3 must play songs and they were not played which is why the different scores. We had an awesome time and they were great but the songs not played still bothers me. ~ caketime

was amazing! The played everything from Sinatra to Polka to Lady Gaga and did it all extremely well. They were so professional. Throughout the night Mark would stop by us and ask if we were satisfied with everything and if we wanted to make any suggestions. He did a great job playing a variety and adjusting to the guests moods and tastes. ~ aspeckles

Our band was amazing! They can play anything and they have a great time and put on a show.Hank Lane, as a company, was fantastic to deal with throughout the entire process.The band leader played the piano during our cocktail hour, which was very nice.I can't even say enough about them, so I'll keep this short.They were truly fantastic and are a very talented group of people. ~ cknud112

Communication with them leading up to the wedding was amazing. I loved working with the band leader and owner, Rich. He accommodated learning a new song for us and guided us towards other song choices for the day. He mixed together three Israeli songs per my mom's requests and found a great time in the night to play them. The dance floor was packed most of the night. The only reason for the B+ not an A was because I really wanted some Shakira played and I didn't hear any and I also wanted "What a wonderful world" and they knew that and that specific singer wasn't there on my wedding day. They also did a trio for the ceremony and cocktail hour which I thought was very nicely done. Overall though, they were fantastic they came out and sang and danced with the crowd and got the energy up. ~ teamAandE

Rich and Phase One were absolutely perfect and had our guests dancing the entire night. We used Craig Scott for the string trio for the ceremony, a jazz duo for the cocktail hour and Phase One (8 pieces) for the reception. Rich is so much fun and outgoing...the guests loved the band and the music variety. Would highly recommend them. ~ Strunella

They did an outstanding job. From learning and making arrangements of our dance songs to really getting the crowd going. I feared that "no one would dance" for a long time since had a lot of older guests that are not the partying type. The band had the floor packed before dinner was served and even when they took breaks (and only had 1-2 musicans playing) people were out there dancing. It was fun to watch from our SH table while we were eating. During dinner they did an awesome jazz set, with the trumpet, trombone, and piano. The last 3 songs had the place exploding.........Don't stop Believin, Livin on a prayer, and finally......NY, NY. Even my 96 yr old aunt was out there! ~ USER876
